Hummus is definitely all the rage right now. Nothing screams party in my work lunchroom like a big bowl of hummus. Not only is hummus delicious, it's also a really healthy addition to a snack. The primary ingredient in hummus, chick peas are a good source of protein and fiber. This will help keep you full much longer than eating some vegetables along. Chick peas are also high in iron, folate, phosphorus and B vitamins. Next time you sit down to snack on some veggies, try adding hummus!
